Desalination project slated for Corpus Christi
CORPUS CHRISTI – A seawater desalination facility is being planned at the Barney Davis Power Plant. The project would repurpose the existing 897-megawatt plant using its intake infrastructure connected to the Laguna Madre. Planned capacity ranges from 50 million to 100 million gallons per day. The project is in early evaluation stages.
